Virgil Bobby Lock

Virgil Bobby Lock was born on May 17, 1947 to Willie (Bill) & Roberita Lock. He gained his wings on August 20, 2025.

He attended Freedom to Worship Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Pastor Charlie Lambert. He loved to worship and praise the Lord. He will be remembered for the numerous gospel groups he sung with and many solos at many churches.

Virgil was preceded in death by wife Shelia Lock and parents Willie (Bill) Roberita Lock, aunts Dolly Miller, Emmaline Jefferson, Agnes Osborne, uncle Harold Locke Sr., son-in-law Elder William Morrison, niece Karen Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his life, daughters Renee Mynatt, Gwen (Donald) Webb, Robyn Locke, Tina Morrison, Teresa (Michael) Smith, Carla (Lamar) Glass of Cartersville, GA., LaJuan (William) Elston of Chattanooga, TN., son Randolph (Eartha) Garner Jr., Richard Garner, special nephew David (Davy) James, 24 grandchildren, devoted granddaughter Sheldonia (Shelly) Garner, 3 special grandkids Skylar (Sugar Plum) Garner, LaTavia Morrison, Jeremy Locke, 59 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 2 devoted daughters Tina Morrison and Robyn Locke.

The family will receive friends on Saturday August 30, 2025 at Foothills Funeral Home from 1 – 1:30 PM with funeral service to follow.
