Troy Rashad Hodge (T-man) born on March 23, 1990 in Long Beach, California, to Troy A. Hodge and GeVonna D. Cooper. Troy departed his life on August 3, 2023. Troy was saved at an early age at New Life Outreach Church and rededicated his life as an adult. Troy was an exceptional athlete. He loved to play football and run track. He was a part of four state championship teams in football and one state championship team in track at Alcoa High School. He attended Tennessee State University. Troy was an outgoing and loving person. He had a contagious smile that could light up a room. His charm and humor was like no other. Although his music was never published, he was a talented lyricist. He is preceded in death by Michael Curtis (uncle), Jarvis Harris (cousin), James Cooper (grandfather), Tamika Cooper (sister) and Valeria Blackmon (aunt). Left to cherish his memory, devoted parents, Troy A. Hodge (Kristie), GeVonna D. Cooper (Greglin). Siblings: Dhyana (Dominic), Aaliyah, Jamii, Connie, DeJuan (Janelle), DeVonte, Chris and Jasmine (Josh) Grandparents: Glenda and Ron Coffin, Dwight Ferguson, Sarah Burgess, Richard Tate and Jacqueline Cooper. Aunts and Uncles: Sheila (Cleveland) Jackson, Glynn (Takisha) Ferguson, Travis Beal, Kareem (Brooke) Coffin, Sharifa (Shaun) Love, Daphnne Hodge, Sheena Curtis, Pete Tate, Aysha Tate, Malika Tate, Andreinne Stubbs, and Sharon Taylor. Long time girlfriend: India Chandler. Devoted special friends: Tristin Garner-Maddox, Racqhel Pugh and Jill Thatcher. A host of nephews, nieces, and cousins. Honorable mentions: James Bowman and Jamie Parker.
