Tim Watkins

Our hearts are heavy as we share the passing of Timothy Ray Watkins, 59, of Rockford, who left us on October 15, 2025.

Tim was born on February 3, 1966, to Margaret and Reverend Robert Watkins. Tim lived life his own way, unapologetically himself. He never met a stranger, and he was always just a phone call away if you needed to talk or a hand to help. He’d give you the shirt off his back, no questions asked.

Life wasn’t always easy for Tim, but no matter what struggles he faced, his love for his girls and grandbabies never wavered. His family was his world. He found joy in every “I love you, Papaw,” every laugh, and every moment spent together. That love will always live on through them.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Tracy Watkins (Tristin) and Tiffany Evans (Derek) his grandchildren, Aiden and Ella Evans; with another expected in January. His sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn Murr Crase (John Crase) and Loretta Teffteller (Richard Teffteller).

He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Margaret and Reverend Robert Watkins, whom he loved deeply.

A memorial service to celebrate Tim’s life will be help at Rockford Community Park Monday October 20th. from 3-5. www.foothillsfh.com
