Laura Davis

Laura K Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Blount County, originally from Madisonville, Tennessee, and a proud Maryville resident for over 60 years.

She was married to the love of her life, Charles Davis, for 65 wonderful years. Together they built a beautiful family and shared a lifetime of laughter, faith, and devotion. She is survived by her husband Charles and their children Steve Davis, Rose Davis, and Darius Davis. She was preceded in death by her beloved

son Jerrick Davis, who passed away in 2022.

She is also survived by her brother James Black, sister Diane Tossin and by numerous grandchildren who adored her deeply. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and each of them carries her kindness, wisdom, and love in their hearts.

Known for her radiant smile and her gift for conversation, she could brighten any room she entered. She loved people wholeheartedly and had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Her joy was contagious, and her laughter will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She dedicated many years as an assistant librarian in the Maryville School Sys-tem, where she shared her love of learning and reading with generations of students. Her gentle spirit and caring nature made a lasting impression on the children and colleagues she worked with.

Her life was one of love, service, and connection—a true reflection of a heart that gave endlessly. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her warmth and, her faith, and that beautiful smile that could light up the world.

Family will receive friends Sunday October 19, 2025 from 2 – 3 p.m. at Foothills Funeral Home, Maryville with service to follow. Interment will be at Sherwood Gardens Monday (time will be announced later). www.foothillsfh.com
