Dorothy Moulden Mynatt - was born on November 11,1923 and departed this life, July 7, 2026 in Alcoa, TN. Dorothy lived her life as a true servant of God. Micah 6:8 says "Do what is justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.” Through-out her life, she extended kindness to everyone she encountered. Dorothy was truly blessed and highly favored through God's word.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Samuel and Lucy Moulden;Husband, Jarnes B. Mynatt; Brothers,William, Wallace, Enoch, Loy, Samuel and Marcellus; Sisters, Dora and Blanche and devoted and loyal Son-in-Laws Charles M. McNear, (Curtis D. Tate and Gary B. Williams

Dorothy was a dedicated and loyalmember of St. Paul A.M.E Church. She loved her church almost as much as herfamily and she loved her family unconditionally. She served the lord with so much love, compassion and diligence. She was a devoted and loyal President of the Stewardess Board. She was afaithful member of the Missionary Society. She took pride in serving as the secretary of the Sunday school board. She loved helping take care of the church. She was a member of the Golden Ages and served as the treasurer for the organizalion. Dorothy loved planting flowers in the yard. She was named the Mother of the Village. She loved everyone in her community. She always had a good word to say about everyone. She had a spirit filled with gold.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, as she called her daughters her "Four Queens", Doris M. McNear Maryville, TN, Patricia A. (Curtis) Simmons, Lucinda S. Williams and C.Caroline Tate;devoted and special nieces and nephew Billie Davis, devoted and loving adoptedfamily Logan, Jackie and Deretha Hill,Eleven grandchildren: Charles M. (Marcia) McNear Jr., Jack L (Lisa) McNear, Crystal Kellogg, Sherry Spears, Michael (Janelle) Kellogg, Orlando M(Cassandra) Mynatt, Darryl Moultrie,Leticia (Larry)Alexander, Tara (Daniel) Nelson, Curtis D (Leslie) Tate 11 and Colby A. Tate; Twenty-Seven Great - Grandchildren; and several Great - Great grandchildren: The St. Paul A.M.EChurch; a host of devoted other nieces, nephews, and relatives. Devoted friendsJudy Anthony, Joyce Adams, Dorothy Davis, Carolyn Thompson, Katheline Tate, Mayor Tanya Martin, Tammy Griffin, Bonus sons Sherman Williams and Bryan (Carolyn and Cory) Garner and many other loyal and faithful neighbors and friends. Her devoted and adored Community. Her loving, loyal and dedicated caretaker Beth Buzzell and Sherry McRae. Her devoted and unwavering Doctor Rodney Ferguson, his extraordinary Nurse and remarkable Hospice team.

Family will receive friends on Saturday July 11, 2026 from 12:30 – 1:30 PM at St. Paul A.M.E Church, Alcoa with funeral service to follow. Interment will follow service at Sherwood Gardens, Alcoa. The body may be viewed from noon – 6:00 PM on Friday July 10, 2026 at Foothills Funeral Home, Maryville. www.foothillsfh.com
