In Loving Memory of Damien Scott Minor
October 20, 1992 – January 9, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Damien Scott Minor, age 33, who departed this life on January 9, 2026, at his home in Maryville, Tennessee.
A Vibrant Life
Damien was born on October 20, 1992, at the University of Tennessee Hospital. A proud graduate of the Alcoa High School Class of 2011, Damien was known from a young age for his vibrant spirit and a personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
He lived authentically and wholeheartedly, fueled by two great passions: his unwavering love for the Texas Longhorns and his deep, soulful connection to music. To Damien, music wasn’t just a hobby—it was his identity. His creativity, drive, and vision will continue to resonate through the work and the people he inspired.

Unbreakable Bonds
Damien valued loyalty and connection above all else. He shared a brotherhood with his childhood best friend, Vanderbilt Hambrick; a special bond with his "girl best friend," Shante Brabson; and an inseparable link with his "bestie cousins," Tre Tate, Jermaine Winton, and Maurice Henry. Also, a special close friend/classmate/brother Devonte Lewis; and his beloved goddaughter, Ceavaya Lewis. These relationships reflected the loyalty, love, and connection Damien valued so deeply.
