Chris Rainer

Chris Edward Rainer, born December 4, 1949 to the late James Rainer & Betty J. (Burge) Burnett, departed his life on May 15, 2025 at The Waters of Sweetwater in Sweetwater, Tn.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James (Porky) Rainer and Larry W. Rainer and children Terry L. Robinson and Sheree Bass. Chris was a 1968 graduate of Hall High School.

He is survived by his children, Demetrius Robinson, Christina (Di’Andre) Johnson, and James Rainer, all of Alcoa, TN. He is also survived by his siblings, Marc (Tammie) Burnett and Emma (Anthony) Earls, Cookeville, TN, Jackie V. Burnett, Knoxville TN, Pamela Thompson, Maryville, TN, Courtney Rainer, Silver Spring, MD and Shannon Rainer, Los Angeles, CA. Twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
