Catherine Louise Crawford-Davis was born in Sioux City, Iowa, to George and Susie Crawford, on April 15, 1965. As a music lover, Catherine learned to play the piano and was a part of the Alcoa High School Marching Tornadoes. Catherine graduated from Alcoa High School in 1983 and pursued her passion for numbers by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tusculum University. For over 20 years, Catherine worked with Accenture in various finance, accounting, and healthcare roles. She was devoted to community outreach and service, being instrumental in the planning and executing of several events yearly with Accenture’s African American Employee Resource Group. She excitedly supported the annual Knoxville Area Urban League’s “Shoes for School” event and continually sought new ways to help the people of East Tennessee. Catherine spent her time with her family and friends, creating new crochet projects and cheering on her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.
